72 an hour SodStar (Operated by Buy Sod), a multi-state agribusiness company with sod farms in the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee, is looking to hire a motivated Sod Installation Foreman to join our team at our Eagleville, TN.

Responsibilities:
Assist Installation Manager with install team oversight and ensures all members are following safety procedures.
Perform daily pre-trip inspection of vehicle, trailer, and all equipment.
Ensure all equipment is secure.
Monitors crew PPE usage and availability.
Upon arrival at the assigned destination, performs a walk around of the property, checking for any previous damage, obstacles, property lines, etc.
If any damage is found pictures will be taken and sent to the Installation Manager.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment.
Report safety issues and concerns in a timely manner Communicates directly with crew members relaying Install Manager directions, client requests and any corrective actions found during daily inspections.
Communicates effectively with the client of each property to ensure high quality and service expectations are met.
Communicates regularly with Installation Manager to verify product availability.
Review the job assignments for the day making sure to have all necessary tools to complete the assigned jobs.
Upon completion of the assigned site, will walk the site taking pictures to document completion and healthy product supplied by Buy Sod.
Any issues will be reported immediately to Installation Manager.
Quickly responds to onsite client issues and relays client inquiries to Installation Manager.
Proactively assists in resolving issues with customer service when needed.
Once the site is cleaned, documented, and finished to customer satisfaction the Installation Foreman will contact the Installation Manager reporting the job completion.
Depending on workloads, weather/field conditions, staffing, etc.
must be able to assist in different departments as instructed by Installation Manager.
Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor as a representative of Buy Sod.
Installation Foreman Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred.
One-two years' experience in the turf industry preferred.
One-two years' experience in a leadership role preferred.
Must have the ability to discern what issues need to be brought to upper management.
Must demonstrate ability to be a team player and build positive working relationships with others.
Ability to work flexible hours to include, but not limited to, early AM/PM, nights and weekends and hours that could fluctuate day-to-day.
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions required.
Ability to sit, climb and balance as well as bend and kneel frequently.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds or more occasionally.
Twisting with weight as needed.
Manual dexterity, coordination and constant movement and use of limbs required.
